Vienna doesn't have a big theme park like EuroDisney or Park Europa near by but if you're visiting with kids and looking for a few hours of old fashioned fun in the city don't miss the Prater.
Imagine a village fair and then multiply the number of rides and you'll get an idea of what the Prater is like. You can ride a giant Ferris Wheel and see Vienna from above, drive bumping cars, hop on a carousel or enter a ghost house. There are many thrill roller coasters as well if that's your fancy.
There are no entrance fees and you pay for each ride separately. In a way, this is a bit less convenient than paying entrance and enjoying unlimited rides in the park, but it adds to the old fashion charm.

The horse parade was a surprise as I assumed someone will walk along side my 4 years old - well I was wrong but he was fabulous..
