It was a beautiful day yesterday and we took the kids to Park Hanadiv - a beautiful huge flower garden which is a memorial for the late Baron Edumond de Rothschild in Israel.
You can find flowers in bloom here any time of the year, but since it's March and the beginning of spring it was full of flowers and colors were bursting everywhere.
We saw so many colors, white, purple, yellow, orange, red. But today we also saw a black flower - the majestic black Iris in full bloom. Our younger traveller who is 3 years old couldn't get enough of this unique flower.
Hiking with the kids is great fun - as oppose to a museum, in nature kids can run around freely and be as noisy as they like. The fresh air does wonders and you don't have to travel far to find a family hiking trail close by.
So get out there, enjoy the outdoors, live better and healthier - and most importantly live happy..
