Toronto is a lovely city and a great family destination. It's not a huge city and can be easily explored by the whole family.
Here is my favorite picture of Toronto's sky line - we took this photograph on the ferry back to Toronto from the islands on Lake Ontario.

I've always wanted to visit Toronto as I have family there who emigrated a few years back. They enjoy a fantastic quality of life.
