When traveling as a family you need extra space. It's especially important when traveling with small children since you tend to spend more time in your room.
We found that having that extra space allows us to relax in our hotel room and get the rest we need before a day of travel and adventures.
When your destination is a large city your best bet is looking for an apartment hotel. An Apartment hotel will allow you to enjoy the extra space without requiring a reservation of an additional room.
When we last visited Paris we had the pleasure of staying at Residence le Prince. We had a wonderful 3 bedroom apartment on two levels with two bathrooms, a kitchen and a washing machine. All of you that travelled with kids know how important is having a washing machine handy. It allows you to cut back dramatically on your packing.
While the kitchen allows you to stock up and eat in your apartment, breakfast is included in the rate. We did enjoy the kitchen for evening meals when the kids were too tired to go out.
Residence le Prince is located in the prestigious 6th arrondissement between Boulevard Saint Germain at the Carrefour de l'Odéon and Boulevard Saint Michel. It's a 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station, and 10 minutes walk to the River Seine and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Yep its all about the kids when travelling, if they're happy then everyone's happy.
