On our way from Paris to the region of Alsace in eastern France we stop overnight at Metz. While Metz is a nice town the Metz Cathedral is unique and takes your breath away. It is the 3rd tallest church in France and is very impressive day and night.
The cathedral is located right on the river front. We loved walking on the promenade along side the river and feeding the swans that came our way.
